Craving kalua pork?

Diamond Bar-based Ono Hawaiian BBQ will have a grand opening for its new North Highlands location on Friday. The restaurant is at 5040 Auburn Blvd, Suite B. Expect a variety of promotions. It marks the 91st location for the fast-casual dining chain, which is known for menu options such as teriyaki chicken and kalua pork. Ono Hawaiian has other local sites in Rancho Cordova and Natomas. At least two more Sacramento-area locations, in Crocker Village and Southgate Plaza, are in the works.

Update on Park Tower sale

New ownership for one of Downtown Sacramento’s premier office towers will bring some changes for current and future tenants. A revamped conference center and new tenant lounge are planned for Park Tower at 980 Ninth St., which KBS Realty Advisors acquired last week for $165.5 million. Reporter Ben van der Meer has details.

From the tech beat

A Maryland-based private equity firm has led a $10 million venture capital round by a fast-growing Sacramento technology company. Camden Partners of Baltimore led the round by DialSource Inc. in January, according to venture capital research website Crunchbase.
