Free food at Ono Hawaiian BBQ
There’s a luau happening Friday and you don’t need to go to Hawaii for the festivities.
In fact, you really don’t have to even leave the state.
Starting at 10:45 a.m. on Friday, Ono Hawaiian BBQ is celebrating at its new restaurant in Surprise with enough festivities to make the Sonoran desert feel like the Pacific Ocean.
The new location, Ono’s 70th, is on Bell Road near 138th Avenue, and to mark the occasion the store is discounting prices and offering freebies on much of the menu, which includes BBQ chicken, seafood, beef and pork.
There will also be a raffle for 50 $100 gift cards that can be used instantly.
Those who can’t make it right at 10:45 will still be able to take advantage of buy one get one free on all food items the entire day.
And there will be Hawaiian dance performers.
So how’s that for an escape?
